Level II holsters and sholder rigs.

Has anyone tried a Level II holster shoulder rig? There seems to be 2 options currently. The Safariland ALS and the blackhawk sepera shoulder adapter. I was wanting a trigger Gard lock function instead of the thumb break style. Fobus makes a Roto but because of the bad reviews I'm already searing clear.

safariland:

blackhawk:

Fobus(just for kicks):

Ok so most CC holsters are tension driven inside the pants type. I was just looking at an alternatives to the venerable thumb strap. From what I understand the levels are mix and match but generally follow this format.

Level 1: Thumb strap
Level 2: Tensioner.
Level 3: Some form of locking or release armature.

I just want a release to replace the thumb strap that sometimes hangs up on the draw. These holsters don't seem to be that much bulkier then the leather models.

I have a serpa in a belt model. I would think it would work well for a shoulder rig, too.

If you want leather go with the Alessi

It snaps over the front face of the trigger guard.
Just tug the firearm to release it.
No retention strap.
