Backpack/bookbag CCW
Does anyone know the name/brand of the backpack/book bag that has been recently advertised in the gun rags for CCW. It looks like a regular book bag but has a shelf on the bottom for your pistol. I can't seem to find it on the net, but I don't remember the name. It is specifically made for CCW I believe. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I haven't seen what your talking about specifically, but I would like to discourage you from carrying in this manner.
At the campus I work at, theft of bags runs almost rampant. Lost book and laptop=bad. Loss of gun to god knows who=really, really, bad. Not to mention you could lose it, or it could be on the other side of the lab/classsroom when you need it on you. A good holster can make carrying all day quite tolerable. I've recently started using a crossbreed supertuck and find it works rather well. I can even get away with t-shirt with minimal printing. It was also quite affordable. Good luck, anyway.

Not the Max. It is basically a backpack that has a shelf of some sort that holds a pistol in an easy to reach area. I just can't remember where I saw it.

I recall seeing it. I'm thinking Oakley rings a bell, not sure though.
I agree that off body carry is not a wise option. If you must go with a smaller gun to go to a deeper concealment.
