Kramer IWB #2 IWB opinions please
I am considering buying one of these for a browning hi power 9mm and was wondering how kramer leather is as far as quality goes, arwe they comfortable and do they conceal well? The IWB #2 also has the sweat shield which I prefer on my holsters and looks like a nice summer special 2 type rig. Last thing for those who have purchased kramer holsters are the custom rigs with a waiting period or are these production holsters with fast availabilty?,could you also post pics of your kramer gear? thanks for any help guys.

I really like mine, I got it off of ebay so I can't comment on lead times. kramer delivers pretty quick from what I have heard though. I think it would be a great HP holster.

I own several and the horsehide ones are excellent as well as comfortable. They are right up with Milt Sparks and the others in terms of quality and stand behind their products.

My first IWB was a horsehide #2 from Kramer. The craftsmanship was fine and it was well built but I just couldn't get it to sit comfortably. I gave up on IWB carry for several years and then tried an offset loop design (Sparks' Watch Six) - there's a world of difference! I wear a Brommeland MaxCon V with a 5" Mil-Spec now and it's comfortable enough that I can fall asleep wearing it. If you like the Summer Special designs then the Kramer should be just fine, if you're up for something different see if they offer an offset loop holster (or order a Brommeland).

I run several different holsters from Kramer Leather over the years...since Greg Kramer operated as "Proline Leather". Always great work.
I'm sorry, but I don't have any pics at present. Kramer's pocket holsters for a J frame are top notch. I still have a horsehide belt scabbard for my 1911. It's seen hard use and is running well. They aren't inexpensive, but they are quality, from my experience. The wait has always been on par with Sparks, Rosen and others... Later, JJ

Truly outstanding holsters in ALL regards. You will not go wrong with one. I have 6-7 Kramers and they are all of the highest quality and fit!

I have a few Kramer holsters (IWB #2,Nuetral Drop Scabbard,MSHP Paddle) and they are built like Mack trucks. The leather is stiff and built to take alot of abuse. Kramer has fast turn around. i think they take like 2-4 weeks vs Sparks which I belive is up to about 6 months now on a new order. I like the auto comparison when talking about the top makers
Kramer = Ford F-150/Mustang GT Sparks = Corvette Rosen = Mercedes If you do go with the #2 IWB make sure you have screw adjusted loops. I found the snaps wouldn't stay shut. I think you can't go wrong with kramer leather. |
