M&P Holsters?

So I picked up an M&P40 last week and was wondering what to carry it in. I know Comp-tac makes a rig for it as does Safariland, but who else? Has anyone been carrying this gun? If so what did you stuff it into and how do you like what you chose? Leather? Kydex? Let me know. Thanks.

Galco has a few rigs
Bladetech makes for it.
The custom guys like K&D will make leather.

In the short run you could get the Blade Tech revolution holster. It's the same one supplied by S&W in the carry kit

For really deep cover, a brown paper bag works great!

I would also recommend that you take a look at K&D Holsters (http://kdholsters.com/) Kevin (K-man) here at the forums makes some awesome holsters. I recently received one of his Cochise Defenders for my M&P .40c and I LOVE it. It is my second holster from him. Fit and finish is top drawer and it is very comfortable to wear!! He will make you just about anything you want, but his standard designs are very nice!! There is a waiting period involved, but it is worth every day!! I will include a few pics of my holster.

Ron

See if Gary B. can make you a MaxCon V for it. If so then you're all set.

Don Hume makes one for it (H721). I've got one on the way. There's also one (leather) on the S&W site under "related items". Looks good, but I don't know anyone who has ordered one.

I'm seriously considering an OWB Laredo Defender from K&D though. Those suckers look nice!

Do a search under UBG holsters for the M&P on this forum. I purchased Nate's OWB holster, and it is excellent. I included pics of his holster with my pistol.
