Naw, it's just that front jean pockets are too snug for pulling out a fistful of shooting iron from. I can "flat-hand"/finesse it out in a reasonable time, just doubtful of the ease of doing this under adverse circumstances such as while moving, if one hand is busy fending off, sheltering my kids, etc. The flap on the one I havehooks into the pocket too, I just can't wrap my hand around the grip and clear the pocket seams. Fox and grapes.

Well, if your pocket holster doesn't have a removeable flap, it's a problem. I just take my flap off when I use it in jeans. I've drawn it a few times during a hot moment, mine comes out fine. It's really all about training & practicing with the methods one carries, not just practicing shooting. I'm not saying no one isn't, just that I've known a few people who just don't practice drawing with their holster.

I have large hands, but I don't think most people are going to be able to draw their gun easily if it's in a snug pocket with a flap connected to it.

No problem here. The flap comes off, just have to remove the Chicago screws. I have not done it. I carry IWB in jeans.

It is because of "dynamic practice" that I don't carry a PM40 in jean pockets. I can "flat hand/finger grasp" it out, but not wrap my hand around it in a near normal grasp. That would work fine if I had some time, but I can't draw when moving backwards through a door and pushing away with the off-hand in a simulated "get off me" situation.

I have average hands, and I agree.

If it is important that your gear looks "expensive" and well finished, rather than utilitarian, the Crossbreed may not be for you. Everyone I've read who actually owned a Crossbreed was very happy, I've 2 Crossbreeds, and had a third (that I re-sold because it was redundant). Not so with The Answer, I've read several complaints due to thickness/bulk. I do think the problem with the Crossbreed is that the sweat shield covers too much of the grip area for me to get my thumb back for a clear grasp, so I cut some of it off (the leather, not my thumb ;) ). I think the Tucker Answer profile is better, in that the sweatshield only shields the slide/hammer portion, and not the grip portion. OTOH, some other guys say they have no problem.

My Crosbreeds are my favorite IWB rigs.
Do the new Crossbreeds have a full length sight track now? The older ones didn't, but he advertises that he raised his prices because of better materials. Is that one of the things he improved?

I honestly don't know what to tell you. I have & it wasn't during simulated "dynamic practice" either. I do know that it also depends on the pants. I actually have some cargo pants where the topmost front pockets opening it just too small for me to get a full grip on my gun. But I have no such problem with my jeans.

I think it's one of those things that it's trial & error. You see what pants don't & what do.

Like I said, one can easily use at least 2 different holsters (A pocket & an IWB), for a gun like the PM9.

There is no ONE way to do things, just as no 2 people are the same, & different makers pants pockets aren't the same.

I don't know, but I suspect not. The one I got several weeks ago looks like this, with the kydex not fully covering the end of gun. Tucker does his the same, AFAIK. The open end is flared where the sight enters, and there is a track most of the length. Dang, now I'm not sure. I'll try to look tonite.
