My DIY holsters
Ok, I have been tooling leather for a while now, so I wanted to tool a design on a holster so I could show it off. I went ahead with a really easy design for my first one. It turned out pretty well. So when I recently got my new Springfield Armory Champion Operator which has a rail I went looking for holsters. I could not find a single one for a 1911 with a rail. So I decided to make one. I got inspiration from The Alessi CQC/S, however I did not have the ability to make a direct copy. I had to draw out the template etc. myself. I think it turned out really well.
Here's the first one ![]() And here's my second one. I love it!! ![]() |

Very nice indeed - I love tooling and have tried that myself ways back.
The second one too - looks a real beaut'.

Those are a couple of very nice pieces. The second one looks quite professional.
