Just saw advertisment in ShotGun news about a new product from Eagle Industries called the RTI system. It is a wheel type device which can be mounted anywhere you have 3 1/2 " of space and you can detach the holster from the wheel if you want to use it elsewhere. Looks like a good concept...

If the Kingston was used while the gun is left in a car then I agree it is flawed, as a holster while driving it has it's place and is no less safe than having a gun in a box, also a gun in a box is no use when someone decides to carjack you without giving you a nice polite 2 minute warning.

Another for the Safepacker. Carry the gun from your safe to your car, buckle it into the seatbelt, without ever having to expose it.
