Car Holster

I am looking for a "Car Holster" for a Kahr P9 and an SA XD 40 SC. Does anyone have any ideas? I am looking for something that I don't have to wear.

I got one for my j-frame at Active Pro Gear. Its got velcro on it and it easily attaches ( and unattaches ) to your belt for a cross draw. I only use it on long trips. If you use one for around town, I think any holster you get that you have to take on and off everytime you get out of the car, is going to be a hastle. I like this holster. Its nylon , but holds it secure and is great for driving.

For the XD you can easily attach the 'free' XD Gear holster to the area below the dashboard.
There is a 'how-to' thread somewhere on this board, I forget which member submitted it.

Check out Ace Car Holster sold through www.smartcarry.com . I have one and have Velcro mounts for each of my cars/truck.

Have you looked at the Kingston Car Seat Holster from Desantis?

The only thing I don't like about the Kingston Car Seat Holster is that it's sitting right there in plain sight every time you open the door. Even if the gun isn't in the holster, the holster itself is plainly visible.

I am working on a vehicle mount for my car tomorrow. If all goes well, I will post some pics by this weekend or first thing next week.
