Tranzit Quickstrap Holster

This is a great looking idea for BUGs on a vest. It seems like it would be quicker to access than through the shirt.

Click on Tranzit Holster

Looks plausible. I'm afraid to ask because it doesn't show a cost.

When you mean through the shirt, are you talking about holstering where the trauma plate is?

Uncle Mike's has a cheap holster that's made to stick to velcro & you thread the vests' straps through part of it. Problem is, it's not very quick & kinda out of the way to grab quickly.

I always carried my BUG on an ankle holster, but liked the idea of the trauma plate carrier. The only downside I've heard is "what if you took a shot in the chest?" Then your BUG's disabled. Of course you can ask what about a shot at your side, etc.

I currently carry on the left side of my vest in a 5.11 backup holster. Pretty good setup accessible through my shirt.

The Tranzit Holster looks like a better option.

Looks like a lot of work to draw a gun for a civilian.
I don't think it would work with my gut and a tight belt?
