Are you a physiologist Ron? Conspiracy kind of guy? Read too many detective magazines? Someone asks a question and next thing we are psychoanalyzing posts looking for some smoking gun, pun intended. I am looking for quality holsters for many of my guns, end of story. I am a researcher when I spend money. I ask questions about things I don't know. I examine products so that I don't have to return them and will be happy with my purchase. I did not realize that created turmoil in this space. I deal in logic, it is what I do for a living and I am quite good at it.
I am not the one with someone's holster site plastered in my signature. How do I know you don't get advertising from him? Maybe he gives you money or product for promoting his wares. I doubt it very seriously, but if one were to be inquisitive, one may indeed wonder.
As I said, I am sure Kevin is a stand up guy. There is no beef with him, I don't know him. If I want his product, guess what, I will have it and he will never know it. I will use someone else to order them for me from somewhere across the country. I sincerely doubt he will quit manufacturing his product or spend sleepless nights worrying about it anymore than I.
Mr. Moderator, please close this thread as I am done having my integrity impugned and motives questioned. I have all the info I need, and thank you for all of the input from those who participated.

Now boys! There's no sense in getting sideways over this! It's just a damned holster! So mocarryguy either didn't like Kevin's product, attitude, delivery time - whatever! Me personally, I think some of these holster makers are full of it! I think good quality leather holsters CAN be produced in less than 6 months like a lot of holster makers claim. I know the old saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" but come on! Supporting holster makers that take more than say...oh...I dunno...12-14 weeks (that's over 3 months!) IMO, is assinine! I know several other craftsman that do just as good within that time frame.

Go ahead - FLAME ON!!!

Hmm, interesting! I am not trying to promote anything. You asked for suggestions and I gave you one. You had already looked at K&D's products (which I did not know at the time) and did not care to go that way. I sure don't have a problem with that! I have said no more about it. I realize that different people have different needs in a holster. If that were not so, there would not be so many different holster makers! I am extremely happy with my holster from K&D and I don't mind saying so, but I guarantee you that there is no kick back!! I have purchased my gear at the same price that you would. And Kevin has never and I know will never ask me to say good things about his product. IMHO, it speaks for itself anyway.
Psychoanalyzing you is the last thing that I want to do. There are many very high quality holsters makers on this forum whom all make outstanding gear!! You made the statement, "Make some good holsters and I will give you some money", which in my humble opinion sounds like you are looking for something other than a good holster, because there are GREAT holsters made by some of the gentlemen that frequent these forums.
I do want to say that I am sorry that I have seemed to upset you though. That was not my intent.

Ron
