Beautiful holster. Sorry if I made things hard on you by ordering a holster for the "wrong" side. Think you could repeat that cant on a Triskel?

Looks great. I could see where being seated with the cant could be real handy. May have to think about that.

It wouldn't be any fun if everyone made the same stuff forever, now would it? There is excellent craftsmanship all over that holster! And the way the kangaroo skin picks up the detail of the serrations and grip checkering is pretty astounding.

The extreme cant is VERY useful for those of us that sit a lot. puts the grip in a great, accessible place.
I thought it would be the other way around. I can understand putting the grip in that position, but doesn't the muzzle of a full-sized pistol like the gov't 1911 (or a Beretta 92) hit the seat when the wearer sits? When I've tried that much rake with an unholstered pistol, the muzzle will hit the seat when I sit even with as much padding I've got on my backside and push itself up and out of my waistband. I can see that working with a shorter pistol like a commander or officer length, but if you can give us some insight Mr. Garrity, I'd appreciate it. Is the wearing location you have pictured the same the customer uses, or does he have it placed farther forward?

Just as an aside, do you think maybe it could be possible to extend the wing and use it as an attachment point for the forward loop and spread the bulk out even more? That would be awesome.

Thanks for the compliments guys! And sorry to bust on you lefties!
I can't tell you the number of times I've started cutting a left-handed order right-handed just out of force-of-habit and being accustom to viewing the right profile of the pistol. Almost did it with one of the prototypes on this one.
We tried a third off-set loop but quickly dismissed it; it just seemed like way too much leather. As to wearing it; as stated this was a very specfic design catered to an individual who absolutely knew what he wanted. I know he spends a great deal of his time in business suits, (always harder to conceal in) and a great deal of time seated.
It is definately not for everyone.
I don't think it would work at all with anything shorter than Commander. The more cant you put on the gun, the less gun there is inside the pants, or less distance measuring from the top of the waistband straight down vertically to the front sight. On some shorter guns, the muzzle would be at or almost under the beltline with that cant, and that simply wouldn't work without it tumbling over the waistband with movement.

That's gonna haunt me forever. I won't even mention left and right-hand twist stitching cord.
