Holster Suggestions for a SAS P229
I'm looking for some holster ideas here. This new gun probably begs for a leather holster, but any suggestions would be welcome!
Hooray for my new Sig! ![]() |

For IWB I prefer a Milt Sparks VMII, but there are plenty of other quality alternatives, alot of the members here rave over the MAX CON V from Gary Brommeland.
K&D has some fine examples. See here How do you carry your Sig? For shoulder holster carry I prefer a Galco jack ass holster and mag carrier with a Miami Classic Harness, but only use the shoulder holster in the winter months when wearing a heavy coat which may hinder drawing from an IWB style holster, and I usually have a pocket gun in my coat for easiest access. For shoulder holsters, I'd look at Del Fatti and I think Alessi also makes shoulder hoslters. |

Kevin from K&D raised a good point on the SAS, and that is a standard holster for the P229 may not fit the SAS correctly. It was a great point. Be aware of those differences as the radiusing on the SAS will make it fit different. That is what I carry daily, and it currently rides in a Galco rig till I find the right "custom" to fit it. Luck with your gun and search.
