Custom Shorts.. - Page 2

I got the 5.11 vest with the hidden holster and 2 mag pouch and am considering the shorts. The vest is great, but my XD 9mm sc still "at least to me" seems to print. The holster and mag pouch are also made for use in the shorts, I wonder if I'll have the same problem?
Bye the bye...my Colt Defender 1911 is slimmer so it prints less, maybe a smaller pistol like the SA Micro 9mm might print less, I'm sure I don't want to go smaller than a 9 mm though.

As far as trusting my life to them. well I am thinking the built in mag holder and light holder is enough. Maybe down the road have a custom pocket puilt in for a small of back mag holster or maybe a knife pocket built in somewhere.

I am all for clearence pricing (thats why i became a dealer of 80 plus brands of gun related items

I am frugal LOL

i just have had experiene that carrying a gun everyday for last 8 years that guns and realted items eat normal clothes (IE knife clips own pant pockets they eat them for lunch)

a good sturdy material will last a lot longer then lighter weight ones

I like the idea of customizing shorts for personal use

but if you spent $20-$30 on shorts then $10-$15 to customize can buy other purpose built ones for $30-35

I had found a dealer on eBay that was selling shorts at a really good price, and gave discounts if you were LE or military. I'll try to see if I can find his name.

There are no local dealers that sell 5.11 shorts here so I hit Costco/Sam's Club. Alterations would be a good idea.
