One thing I noticed about these pictures is that most of you carry a folder clipped inside your front pocket. What are the laws in your state regarding concealed knives?

South Carolina forbids concealing a knife with a blade longer than 2 inches. Even my Swiss Army has at least a 3-inch blade, and my tactical folders are 4.

I'm going to have to research the law a little to see if the way I've been carrying (clipped inside front pocket just like everyone else) is legal.

Any thoughts?

I never understood a law where you can't carry a knife with a blade that is bigger than a 3" blade, and yet you can legally carry a firearm, which is able to reach out to targets far beyond what a 3" blade would. There is no knife law in Alaska, I've seen some people carry large hunting knives around, no problems.

good point, everyone should check on knife laws where they are (or will be traveling to) just as they should check firearms laws

the blade I have clipped in my pocket in the pictures is a Remington 4 inch folder

Every state's different. As someone already mentioned, you need to check out your states knife laws as well as ones you travel through &/or to. In my state, you can carry a concealed folder of any length, but no fixed blade over 2" long.

I did, I've been in NJ for almost a month for training, all of my knives are illegal there. I'll be so glad once I start my on-site work back in Dixie.
