I don't button it all the way up normally I have a cuple button ups were the buttons are sewed on, the velcro holds the shirt together so I draw is quick.... practice practice..... This is one way I carry, I mostly use my IWB crossbreed supertuck

MadDog...That reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer and the old guy were arguing whether their new invention should be called "The Man Bra" or "The Bro"!

Lots of fancy-schmansy rigs posted here. I'm a pretty basic guy...give me a Ruger GP100, a good double bull hide belt w/reinforcer and the FIST Basic #9 holster. I can draw quickly...even from a seated position:

Now...I do have an open mind and force myself to occasionally carry IWB with an El Paso:

I've never owned a 1911. All my auto-loaders have been DA/SA. The difference with the RAMI is that it doesn't have a decocker. I'm used to the first shot being DA, so the half-cock option seemed a good compromise between cocked-'n-locked and hammer resting on the firing mechanism. It shortens the DA pull by 25% to 50% (haven't taken precise measurements), and I don't have to learn how to make fartin' around with a safety second-nature.

I carry my other DA/SA guns with hammer all the way down and safety disengaged, so I wouldn't be uncomfortable doing that with the RAMI, but I am curious, why would there be any question as to the feasibility of carrying half-cocked instead? Is there some disadvantage carrying half-cocked over carrying hammer-down that I haven't foreseen?

IWB holster and gun picture thread !!!

Lets post some pictures of what we carry and how..Pictures,in my opinion, are the biggest help in trying to decide on a holster and gun set up.
Here's mine...this is my new Springfield EMP and a Brommeland Max-Con V holster.
