How do you put on your Max Con Holster?

Okay, I know it sounds like a really stupid question, but I gotta be missing an easy answer.

I just recently received a MC V for my Officer's Model, (paid a little xtra & snagged one from Coal Creek Armory; still cheaper than MS VMII on Ebay, yeesh!). Anyhoo, in the past any IWB holster I have owned has been a clip, just slip it on and out the door I went. Now with 2 belt loops that need to be stradling a pants belt loop, I'm having a very awkward time putting on my MC V with a stiff Wilderness belt. It's like getting dressed twice. Once it's on, this thing is incredibly comfortable!!!! What a rig!!!

Any tips on a the easiest way to slip this wonderful holster on?? Thanks in advance!!

BTW, did I mention this is an incredible holster??

Put it on your belt and pants before you put your pants on (with no gun in it). Holster your gun after pants are up, but before cinching down belt.

I get dressed as normal but leave my belt extra loose. Slip the holster in the waistband and roughly position it - now here's the trick - snap the front loop first, then the rear. Holster the gun, snug the belt, reposition the rig as necessary. All done!

+1.

Although my current Holster is Nates (UBG) Canute. Somewhat the same loop position design. I'll report back once my MCV is delivered!...:)

Chooie's method of holster placement protocol would appear to be an effortless task!

Lol, I am used to solid loops and slots, not snap loops and clips.

Either Chooie's or maclean3's technique will work for ya. I hope you enjoy your Max-Con V!

I tried it Chooie's way once: Works great if you're getting dressed in the morning but if you're trying to put the gear back on after running into the Post Office it gets ya' some funny looks in the parking lot.

I'm the opposite-I come from clips and snap loops.

Damned if I don't like them loops w/o snaps.

Especially after waiting a month for something
