Any pocket holsters w/snap?
I am looking for a 1911 pocket holster that has a removeable thumbreak snap. I would like to use it as both a pocket holster (after removing the snap), and for vehicle conveyance (using safety snap or thumbreak) . A removeable snap would be great..I have searched on the net, but have yet to find one..I hear that they are hard to find, because 1911 thumbreaks were deemed to be uncomfortable and designed to carry only in condition #3..thanks, juking

You may need to look at someone making a custom holster to fit you needs. I am guessing a micro 1911?

Fist Holsters adds a thumbreak to all holsters they make for an extra charge.

Decided against the thumbreak for 1911
Fist makes great holsters. The Kydex cool, but I prefer the leather..I wonder if they are completely closed at the bottom? I decided against the thumbreak. I was planning on carrying the thing snapped on the seat, which is legal here..but, I found something better. The center flip down armrest/console is just big enough for the micro..It even has a latch on it..HOOYA!

I don't know if Fist holsters come with closed bottoms, but I'm sure he can do it or you can probably find a kydex holster maker that does.
If I recall correctly, stellar rigs makes some of his kydex holsters with closed bottoms. In fact, the one pocket holster I got from them had a closed bottom. It didn't work out for me, & he refunded me, but it could be what you're interested in. I believe the link to their site is: www.stellarrigs.com
