With leather straps and snaps the holster will sit at only the pre determind height and cant. With the clips on the Dakota Defender you can adjust the height and cant (angle the gun sits at). Opinions very on which is best. Personaly I feel there is no one best anything. Each of us has different wants and needs. Good luck with the choice.

Thanks all. I ordered a K&D Dakota Defender today for no particular reason vs. the others. They all sound great. Now to settle in for the wait...
