Tuckable mag pouch??

Does anyone make a tuckable mag pouch? Also, I wonder, since they seem to be so rare, is there some reason not to use them? I think I'vs seen one somewhere, but I can't find any now.

Makes a single & a double.
Some really malign tuckable holsters & therefore mag pouches too.
For those that must tuck a shirt & are out of place w/ a coat or jacket all day there is not a lot of other choices.
Tuckables may not be the #1 choice but they definately have their place.

I bought a Galco "Deep Undercover" which translates into deep into you sides when worn. Damn uncomfortable for my big rear end.

Of course thats because I have a IWB MS VMII, that takes up some real estate. I carry my spares in a Blade-Tech combo light/mag holder.

Maybe the skinny guys can chime in-to me IWB mag pouch

I made a convertible tuckable IWB to OWB mag carrier. It works well but it is definitely not the most comfortable when worn with an IWB holster. Not unbearable but it sure lets you know that it's there. I have since acquired a holster Tee from 5.11 and use that for the few times that I need to wear a shirt and tie. Next on my list is UCC's holster shirt as extolled by fed_wif_a_sig. Both of these have room for extra mags.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Crossbreed makes one.

Crossbreed does make one, and I have one for my XD-45.

It works great, but you have to plan for all of the extra width. It can make things pretty tight. So I only use it every so often.

+1 to Shadeangel's perspective, just too much junk IWB. I only select IWB magazine if I'm carrying the HG somewhere else, which generally isn't very functional.

Here is a novel design www.desantisholster.com/n91.html , the're probably others too, (tried it at the store, good concept, below average execution) with a magazine slot forward of the HG slot; I'm going to be asking Mark at Crossbreed if it is practical to develop for this a version of his excellent tuckable Super Tuck holster, .www.crossbreedholsters.com/beltslide.html.

I think a lot of different outfits make IWB mag pouches, some of which are tuckable, most of which I have already seen mentioned in previous posts. While IWB mag pouches certainly have there place in a person's arsenal of tools for concealed carry, my personal experience, is that I've never found carrying magazines inside the waistband to be very comfortable. If I'm to be completely honest, some of the experiences have been downright excruciating.

While I would never be one of those people to shout out to everyone that tuckable mag pouches are evil and blah, blah, blah... still, they just don't work for me and my slightly plump midsection.

Just last night I was experimenting with a folding knife case for my extra magazine for my PF-9. Perfect fit and when looking at it you couldn't tell it was a magazine instead of a knife at all!!
