I used the c-clips for several months before going to v-clips (for the concealibilty) and in my experience the c-clips work. They offer much more support then j-clips which use your pants and not your belt as support. I never had a fear that the c-clips would allow the holster to pull out on draw. One nice thing I liked about them that the v-clips don't allow is the ability to slide shift them on the belt for that exact comfort spot.
I think you'll like your c-clips.
