J Frame & Hip Grips
In my effort to get as much input into Barami Hip Grips for a J Frame, here's a poll;

Add a Tyler T-grip and a little tennis racket grip tape and you are good to go.

I use my J frame with hip grip on rare occasions. When I need them, they work fine.

Love the idea of the hip-grip & it does stay put mostly. Just not enough grip to hold onto with airweight & +p rounds. Now using CT grips & pocket holster from Mika.
Stay safe!! gary

I carried the blued 49 from 1975 until 1995 when I bought the 649. I put the Barami grips on the 49 then. It's a quick stick in my pants gun for that run down to the gas station or short trip into town.

My wife carries her 642 with white Barami Hip Grips and a T-Grip and loves them. I pocket carry a 642 sometimes with Hogue Laminates and find they fit my hand better than her setup.

I bought and tried the hip grip for my J frame and it just isn't for me.I like pocket carry or holster carry much better.
