the price, the price!!!! there are many well made belly-band style out there for around $30 bucks more/less that will do the same job. belly-band style holsters are fine and most peoples have one in their holster collection.

Not sure which one you are talking about, Frank. The UC standard belly band is $40, and seems well made for the price. I have another one (somewhere) and the UC is much nicer. My guess is I paid as much for the other one.
That said, the one under discussion is a different beast, meant to keep everything put while being active. -john |

No folks I don't work for them like most thsis ia good site to discuss what works and what does not work so for me they have meet and or exceeded my expectation. I have had some dealy in getting some products when they are not in stock, but I am always pleased when th product arrived. That is why I am talking about them, thebig companies sometime don't care this is a small company and they care at least for me they have thus far. Again the products that they offer trully work and work very well. I was able to get a copy of the product video here it is http://uccomfort.net/user/UCcomfort.mov If you wear for concealment this is the shirt for you, trust me deep cover and I know the product work.

It looks to me like a glorified bellyband with suspenders!! $140 seems way to steep for what it is. I have used and recommend a good quality Belly Holster to many people. It is a great deep concealment rig that I prefer over the crotch type rigs, but adding $100 for a set of $5 suspenders and a sewn in radio pocket? Sorry I don't get it. For those of you who think you can't use a Belly band holster because you have a belly are very wrong, the gun sits on your side, not the front of your belly, the band actually sucks your gut in and makes you look skinnier. Hey women have been doing it for years!! The BB is very versatile to as where you had carry your rig, up by your arm pit, down low etc...

The construction looks to me more like a backbrace with a holster. They do sell a traditional bellyband as well, but I think the idea is that a normal bellyband wouldn't be secure if you were running.
AFAIK, I haven't seen anything else that fills this particular need, and as a result, I don't see why $140 is that big of of a deal. Hopefully someone will get it and give a full report. -john |

I was at Harbor Freight tools earlier today and came across the support belt/strap. Looked very close to this UC. It had shoulder straps & very wide elastic on each side. $9.95 I think. I thought about going back and getting one and seeing how well it would work for carrying other tools like my Glock. Back support and a holster all in one for under $10 - could it be true?
