I notice a difference between the two defenders pictured above. The leather on ront's covers the entire pistol on the inside while thinkat's stops even with the front. Why the difference?

The higher leather on the inside is a " sweat shield" to keep sweat from the slide ect of a weapon , some need it some dont . It just depends on your lifestyle , how much you sweat , and metallurgy of your firearm .

Link i am sure it will be worth the wait . When we discussed my wants/needs we came up with an eagle/cochise hybred with exotic accents . Quality and getting EXACTLY what you want takes time from any craftsman . After all you can have it Done Right , Done fast , Done cheap , but you have to pick one of the three lol .

Maze, please see the pictures that I posted. The holster does hold the butt of the gun nicely against the body.

We have not quoted anyone a turnaround of 6-8 weeks for well over a year. The only exception to that is we try and get the pocket holsters out a little sooner, and that's only because we've used them as a training tool for those who have worked for us.

If you're dissatisfied in any way with what the wait time has been, I certainly understand that. And we would understand if you wish to cancel your order.

If you would like to provide me with your real name, I'd be more than happy to give you an up to date status. You can post it here, send me a pm, send me an email, or call us.

Yes, in fact, it has a bit more space between the body of the holster and the clips in comparison to the Cochise Defender. There are "spacers" that raise the clips off the body of the Dakota Defender, allowing for more material to be tucked/slid in between.
