FIST came today!

Just got my FIST IWB and belt for my CZ 2075 this afternoon. Sweet! And just in time, too. I got the call from the Sheriff's Dept. to come pick up my permit this morning. Just one question...How long does it usually take before the leather starts breaking in and becoming more comfortable? When I tried the rig on this evening for the first time, it felt like I was wearing hard plastic. I guess it just takes months of wearing? (This is my first holster, so sorry if I'm asking a dumb question). Thanks.

You're going to appreciate your Fist holster...I have dozens of them. I think that the discomfort may be the positioning and not the holster itself as a holster with a gun in it IS rigid...you have to find that right 'spot'...OMO

What did you order?

Thanks, I got a #20 close-cropped IWB with the adjustable cant and ride. I tried some different pants with it this morning and that has made quite a bit of difference. I think the belt loops on the other pants were spaced at just the wrong distance to let me position the holster at the right spot. Now to just get used to it.

That's the problem I had with my new UBG holster. When I first used it IWB it was pretty rough on the skin. Since is for a Kahr PM 9, a very small pistol, I tried in OWB, outsied the pants but inside the belt. That worked fine until I wore different pants. Then the belt loops were spaced so I couldn't place it right. I went back to IWB and wore it mostof a day and it felt a lot better. Still left an imprint on my hide, but took a lot longer and was comfortable most of the day. (I hate wearing undershirts so it is directly against the skin. I may have to go with undershirts.) I think that with time I will forget it is there.
