opinions on this holster

Anybody got an opinion on this holster?

I'd probably just use the belt holster...

Yea - don't buy it. So much of CCW is a GOOD rig, made specifically for your carry weapon, a good belt, and a good position (most comfortable and accessible for you).

Never go cheap on a carry holster.

As a shoulder rig...truthfully it looks like it would not be so great. Kinda bulky looking and odd fitting in the shoulder holster option.
Just my opinion on that.

My opinion on it (in general) is that you could spend a bit more money and get a leather rig form fit to your firearm which will conceal better and will also eliminate the need for a retention strap.

The chest holster version looks like it might be cool for camping but, I would not personally buy the belt rig for concealment.

I see that you're in Alaska. I'd suggest you drop the idea above and get in touch with Rob at Simply Rugged, also in Alaska: http://www.simplyrugged.com/index.html

Personally...I think this holster is a jack of all trades....master of none. There's much better leather or "plastic" out there.

Spend good money on a custom holster and good belt belt. They will last for many years. If you're gonna carry on a regular basis, it's the difference between night and day.

A holster made FOR a particular weapon, from good leather will be well worth it...and will last a lifetime...

Search out the "Related Links" above...lots of choices...Fist, Inc comes to mind for good leather and quick service...lots of other holster makers on this forum...

Have fun looking!

Anything that says it does it all, usually does it all very poorly!

If you have a quality gun, why wouldn't you get a quality holster for it? You won't enjoy carrying if you don't.
