Now that horizontal phone deal looks useful Jim - mine is unfortunately a vertical pouch idea.

So - any idea where to find that type of yours - if I can get one I'll certainly change phone position.

Chris,

I've seen them for most of the carriers now... which company are you using? I know Verizon has them for a bunch of their phones...if not, there are after market ones out there... and a bunch of them rotate... you can carry the phone either horizontally or vertically.

Do you know which model Motorola you have? Or a picture. Do you have the newer real slim RAZR type phone? or something a little thicker?

I'll see if I can't find something for you online :)

Jim - I have the V176 (G8/19). It is not a contract deal - just a pay-as-you-go, which suits me as I have no service at home and it is a travelling companion for most part. $15 a month and roll-over on minutes - suits me fine (with an outfit called Net10 ... using I believe Sprint service - I forget for sure).

(Excuse slight thread drift fellas!).

How's this ??

- added upon request:

BearClaw Holsters - Just his run of the mill mag carrier with Western Diamondback. The holster is something I had him make me and it's not listed on his website.

Mag Carrier - Likes: Highly concealable, tough, just the right amount of tension on my Wilson mags, and very, very attractive especially when I wear brown ;)

Mag Carrier - Dislikes: None. I use this mag carrier even when I wear other holsters. Works great.

Holster - Likes: Looks great, has a big 'WOW' factor when I wear it to matches. It's from a custom maker so of course the fit and finish are flawless.

Holster - Dislikes: I preface this by saying that it's a design that I asked for - he says he's a custom maker so he has to put up with people like me every now and then. This is not a holster from his product line. The downside of this holster is that it does not carry the gun REAL close to the body so I really can't wear it for concealment, though it works great for it's intended purpose which was IDPA / range holster. It looks great so no big deal - I have other holsters for concealment including a few from BearClaw which work very well. Moral of the story: A professional holster maker should never listen to amateurs ;) If I could do it over again I'd just have him do up one of his product line holsters in rattlesnake.

That's darn snazy. But could you note:

1) Make/model
2) What you like/dislike

Thanks!

For carry I have used the sidearmor's mag pouches the most. You adjust the tension and can carry them either vertical or horizontal. they make them for either Glock or 1911 mags.
http://www.sidearmor.com/cart/catalo...e_Carrier.html

As far as location goes, its gun and rig on right, knife in right pocket (unless pocket carrying R9 or P-32), phone in left or right pocket, mag pouch at 9:00, leatherman(if carried) behind mag pouch, surefire in left front pocket, and hideaway around neck.

Thanks all.

DirtDawg, what make/model is that? How do you like it?

Lance, thanks for updating the info. Very nice looking rig!
