P7 PSP Mag Carrier!
I'm looking for ideas for a magazine carrier for a P7 PSP magazine!
I'm sure that an M8 mag carrier would also work, but as I don't have any other single stack weapons, except my .22's :), I don't know where to look. Does anyone have any suggestions? Will a 1911 magazine pouch work? --Jim

A 1911 mag (at least a .45 model) won't work, it slides free in the pouch and would fall out if you bent over. Now a .38/9mm 1911 mag pouch (leather) might work but I'd say it would have to be new and not broken in and it might do the job.
But if you are going to go there, you might just find a maker that would custom make one for you even if you had to send a PSP mag to them or they may have one to mock it up already. I also have a PSP and things like this and holsters are proving to be hard to find for it. Check out the master list of holster makers in the forum help & extras and find several you like and start calling them. Ti

Short of having one made by one of the custom makers, which would be a perfect fit of course, Galco offers a mag carrier for a single stack 9mm, which is smaller than a 1911. I know a guy who uses one for his P7 mags and it works okay. Galco's number for it is SMC18. Here's a link to their site:

Mag pouch
Got mine from FIST, no problems. Great folks to deal with and reasonable price for what you get.
http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/acc/Default.htm I have a couple with the loop sewn on, and a couple with belt clips. I wear the clip on ones "backwards" (OWB) so you must specify what direction you want it if you go this route. They say they're designed for IWB carry. |
