There is this thread, which has lots of pictures of all sorts of holsters.
There are pictures of my setup for my Ultra in that thread as well. It's a Blackhawk, OWB belt holster. Very comfortable, very concealable, even though it's OWB. I'm not a huge fan of IWB, but I will carry that way if I need to. I'm sure you'll get quite a few people who will come to post and share pictures and ideas.

I carry my Ultra II in an OWB manufactured by Kirkpatrick leather.
Great holster at a very reasonable price. http://www.kirkpatrickleather.com/m_concealment.htm Mr_D |

I toted my Kimber Ultra Carry for a year in a Tucker "The Answer" leather/Kydex hybrid IWB holster. Every day, from getting dressed in the morning until getting undressed for bed at night. Average 14 - 16 hours per day. Comfortable enough to nap with.
Fast, easy to reholster, lots of adjustability, and great for concealing. Bill |

I have two Kimbers...one is an Ultra...
I have five Fist holsters and one Galco...the Fist holsters are great... All leather, 5 IWB and one OWB (Galco paddle), the Fist holsters are all with a cant and a clip... I have at least twenty other holsters from Fist (great holsters)...check them out, as it costs nothing to look!

Two come to mind from Andrews Leather. My current favorite IWB which is a McDaniel II. His OWB Hybrid Saddle looks good to.
http://www.andrewsleather.com/ I also have a Cochise/Dakota blend design on the way from K&D. He has some really nice OWB's as well. www.kdholsters.com One thing to remember is that really good custom leather will require patience as the custom makers are mighty busy folks these days.

Kirkpatrick Compact Under Cover
I frequently carry my Colt Defender, the same size as a Kimber Ultra, in a "Compact Under Cover" holster from Kirkpatrick in Texas. This is an OWB belt scabbard holster that was designed for short barrel 1911s. It holds the gun high on the belt at a good cant angle for concealment. Here is a photo of the gun in the holster:
![]() Kramer also makes a nice belt scabbard holster in horsehide that is very stiff for easy reholstering. I use one of these for a Kimber Pro CDP, a slightly longer gun than the Ultra: ![]() |

Primarily I carry mine in a Sam Andrews www.andrewsleather.com pocket holster and love it - I find no disadvantages to it. Alternately I use a Gary Brommeland www.brommelandgunleather.com Max Con V, IWB and it's great. There are a couple of other holsters very similar to the Max Con V that would also serve you well.

My Ultra CDP rides in either a Hume IWB or Hume OWB.
I have found Hume holsters to be very good and economical. |
