Pocket holster for P3AT

Now before we get started, this thread is a little different from the rest asking similar questions. That being said, admins, if it's not "different enough", then please feel free to close it.

I know there are several holster makers on here, and chances are I've seen their stuff, so I'm not asking you all to show me your pocket holster, or simply tell me what kind you carry in. What I want to know is, why? I have several pocket holsters, and I know what my opinions are, but I want to know what features you think make a pocket holster great, and which of your pocket holsters embodies those qualities. My pants are usually fitted, so personally I'm looking for something slim, but also holds its shape, AND something that will stay in my pocket if I ever have to draw. And, if its really pretty, that wouldn't be too bad either!!!

Thanks all!!!

for me there are two ways that i carry my p3at. first is the kel tec belt clip. just clip the gun on your pants, with the clip under the belt, the p3at is gone. you can not see it with the shirt tail out (no matter the type of shirt). with shirt tail in, i just pull a little amount of shirt tail out, bingo, p3at gone from sight.

now, the second way i carry. i use a uncle mikes pocket holster for the small auto. yes, the small auto, not the one for the p3at. the small auto works the best, the p3at fits and the holster is not to big and breaks the outline of the gun. and for around 12 bucks it is hard to beat. you can also cut the flap and put a extry mag in.
not bad for 12 bucks (i hope it is still 12 bucks)

for slim pants i would try the belt clip.

+1 on the clip. I carry mine in my pocket though and it collects lots of lint.

I carry my P3AT in a 2n'1 holster by K&D. The reasons why I like it are: (1) provides for extra mag carry wthout much extra bulk. (2) The extra piece of leather in back of the gun looks and feels like a wallet. (3) I can carry it in my back pocket or my side pocket with equal ease

I recommend it without reservation.

People are missing it on this one. I have two Fist kydex pocket holsters for my KelTec's .32 and .380...
The pocket holster fits the curve of the thigh, prevents printing, and...has a tiny 'thumb push' to ensure you only get the gun not the holster. Other pocket holsters have a curved leather 'hook' or some other feature...but the little thumb push is PERFECT.

Don't pass this holster up...it's perfect for what you're looking for...

Did you have to special order it to fit with the Armalaser?

I've had several and the one I like the best is the K Rat by Palehorse holsters. It is somewhat stiff suede and stays in the pocket upon the draw, has a thumb push on top to add in the draw, it is thin and conforms to my thigh, holds the gun, but has an easy draw and conceals well. Have one for my P3AT and another for my .32 Keltec, so I can carry one on either left or right now. I've also used the belt clips, but it makes me nervous to carry a gun, with the trigger exposed.

Here is a picture of a pocket holster for a P3AT. It is made by Stellerrigs.com I purchased one seversl years ago and I carry
it every day strong side front pocket-Back up or alone if need be. Carries gun & extra mag. Never know it is there.
Many different styles on their site.
To draw you obtain a grip on the Gun and push the gun out of the holster with trigger finger. This becomes obvious once you have it.
does not print.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the Nemisis holster yet. I have pocket carried for quite awhile and this economic holster is awesome. I have some of Ron Grahams beautiful leather holsters and they are nice looking but they don't work for me. The formed leather holds the gun to snug and the holster wants to come out with the gun. Wallet carry is out, it is what I thought I wanted but after getting the NAA Guardian and trying to draw from the rear pocket was very awkward and obvious not to mention very slow. The Nemisis is by far the best I have tried. The sticky outer material actually grabs the lining of the pocket and keeps the holster in the pocket during a draw, plus the mouth stays open making reholstering a breeze. This is simply what I have found works for me.
Good Luck.
