Got my Dakota in from K&D!
This is my first custom made leather holster. Until now I was carrying my 23 in a CTAC(just bought it to hold me over until the leather got here). I can't wait to get home and try it. Looks like the CTAC will be going in the holster drawer. Looks very nice! The leather is pretty stiff tho. I guess just put the unloaded gun in it and then strap it on and wear it will loosen it up? Thanks Kevin for a great looking holster.

congrats, what a great holster. Mine had perfect retention and draw from the day it came in, don't really want it to loosen up that much.

Pics
Holster looks great. Only possible issue is I think the leather that protects the trigger is cut alittle low. With the gun fully seated and the trigger in the forward position the piece of leather guarding the trigger is dead inline with the trigger. For my taste I think it should come back just alittle more. There is some potential for something getting in there. Not very likely but still possible I guess. What do you guys think from the pictures? Go with it? Kevin if you check in what do you think?

Nah, trigger is covered. You're fine! Good looking holster.
