New Leather- Southern Holsters

I just got my first leather - a Southern Holsters Memphis. The Holster is IWB with sharkskin loops and front panel. The molding is wonderful- even the front cocking serrations and the "Geneseo, IL" of the Springfield address show up.

This thing is comfortable! No muzzle dig in the hip from the C-TAC.

(I am keeping my C-Tac for work as I have to tuck in my shirt.)

I was quoted 4 weeks, and received it in 5. (I did get an email saying that it would be delayed). Looking at the website now, the wait time is 8 weeks. HA! I made it just in time

The gun is a XD45 compact. I wore it this weekend with just a t-shirt and no one was the wiser.

Comfortable, good-looking & quick.

I agree their web site is a mess. They could use a good web site designer powerful bad.

Yep, Southernholsters.com is the place. The website was working great when I ordered. I looks like something went wrong with it.

They are not taking orders right now. Maybe that is why the website is messed up?

Golly. Seems most of the outfits whose products I'm interested in are overwhelmed by volume...add this one to the list. Must be nice from the supply side!

Fairway1 is right, I'm not taking orders right now and the only way to prevent that was to make inactive the custom leather items. This causes them to not even show up on the website. If that is not what you guys are talking about the website being mucked up, please elaborate.

The 8 weeks showing as the current lead time is what it will be once I start taking orders again this after this weekend. That is a time frame of double what it will normally take, this just gives me a buffer for "life happens" items that can give a slight delay. I will try to keep the orders going out the door in the 4 week time frame.

All but one holster that is currently on order will ship out this weekend. Just trying to clean the plate before taking orders again.

Enjoy your holster luwarren!
