New Laredo from Kevin

I got home from a gun show today and found a package from Kevin at K&D Holsters. I was expecting it since Kevin called yesterday to say it had shipped and should arrive today or Monday. It was still a real rush to come in and find the box on the table.

So what is it? It is a Laredo for my Colt Mustang. The Mustang is small enough for pocket carry, but I have several pocket guns. So I decided to try it on the belt. My S&W 1066 is a little bit large to hide under a sport coat or suit coat. If I have to reach into my pants pocket the coat will ride up enough to show the bottom inch or so of the holster. I decided that the Mustang would be a good answer for when I have to have on a suit or sport coat. The holster barely gets below the belt on there is plenty of room for the coat to ride up. Here is the Laredo and the mag carrier for the Mustang.

Front view of Mustang with extended mag in Laredo with standard mag in carrier.

Back view of Mustang with regular mag in Laredo with extended mag in carrier.

Laredo holster, mag carrier and extended mag.

As usual Kevin has done a fantastic job.

Congrats. I recently received an order from Kevin with my eagle defenders. I went back and forth between the eagle and laredo and ended up ordering the eagles.

I am very impressed with the OWB holsters from K&D!!

Awe heck, you're not gonna fall for that one! That's one sweet set-up!

As usual another fine example of Kevin's talent.

Nice rig. I'm in the market for an IWB for my Colt 1903 pocket hammerless. That may be the answer.

Everyone agrees that it is ugly and huge. It does provide a place to put the little finger and an additional round, so I can't complain too much. Part of the problem appears that the base of the 6 round is permanently attached to the mag body. There is no way for anything to slide on, so they made the extension to replace the original base and it has to be permanently attached as well and that makes it bulky.
