Try the Woolrich Elite Discreet pants or Discreet Mk II. I am 6'3" and 275. They are very roomy and comfortable. Deep pockets, and they Do not look likea cargo or "tactical" pant. PM me if you are interested...I have a friend who is a dealer and sells them at a very reasonable price. Trust me I am no the kind of guy who can afford to spend money on something that does not fit or work for me.

Dockers relaxed fit work well as do the Puritan brand at ChinaMart (walmart).

I love my Woolrich Elite pants. They wear very, very well - tough as hell. Also, the thigh pocket is perfect for my carry knife and Surefire. I hate to admit it, but I geeked out and bought the pocket carrier that holds the knife and Surefire upright in the pocket.

They have an elastic section that makes IWB carry tolerable for me. I normally can't deal with IWB. Plus, the elastic isn't the type that keeps you constantly "hitching" your pants up. The front pockets are also pretty deep and have been very good for pocket carry of my PM9 with the pocket holster from Kahr.

I have the 5.11's, they're very comfortable, but I've been saying to myself for some time to cut off the useless lanyard D-ring and the useless web strap on the back. When I buy new ones I'll get Woolrich, they've got everything you need and nothing you don't. I'm guessing they're as comfy too. I've also managed to SIT apart one pair of the 5.11s - don't ask. Or perhaps it's my diet.

I really like the 5.11 cargo pants. They're very durable and the fit is good. I appreciate the elastic in the waistband, which helps with adjusting between IWB and OWB carrying. The mag pocket is perfect for a Wilson Combat 47-series, and there are plenty of ways to pocket carry. I have found that my Detective Special in a Desantis Nemesis works quite well in the back slash pockets, and that's not a tiny handgun.

I've found the 5.11s for as little as $22, online.

I really like the Izod Chino pants. I can't carry at work, but the pockets are really deep. I used to wear the Old Navy pants, but got tired of the small pockets. I get mine at JC Penney's.

I like Gander Mountain's Guide series pants, and plan on getting some Woolrich Elite pants as well (probably 4441's).

I'm partial to the 7-Pocket Hiker Pants that Cabela's carries. I only pocket carry a KelTec P3AT .380ACP. Used to pocket carry a S&W 442 revolver.

Though, as a test of just what these pockets can carry, I'm currently holding a fully-holstered CZ P-01 9mm semi-auto in the same pocket. The accordion-style pleats in the pockets allow it to expand to that size, though it's now fairly obvious I've got a hefty package in the pocket. Still, the butt of the gun is fully concealed inside the pocket, and it's standing right-side-up to allow a clean draw. With a suitable pocket-style holster, it wouldn't be half bad.

Haggar makes khaki's (not cargo pants) with larger and reportedly reinforced pockets. Haven't tried them, just saw the pictures at Kohl's. I think they go for about $20 when on sale.
