Anyone have any experience with these, ideally for a J Frame. Made in South America, they seem pretty nice quality with good detail for under $50.

Yep... I may buy some foreign made firearms, but I tend to buy American for holsters and such.
When it comes to holsters, there's just no reason not to buy from Americans. Too much is being made overseas these days as far as I'm concerned.

I just picked one up for my RIA 1911 and I think it is a great holster for the money. The quality is on par with DeSantis and Galco.

I saw them on Ebay.
They looked OK to me. Hopefully the leather will be close grained and stiff enough. I wouldn't have any real problem with trying one.
