One of our site sponsers is Lighting Arm Sports, they carry Alessi, Sparks, and DelFatti. Stock varies, but they are great people--give them a call.

For practically no wait time, try Comp Tac. I love their M Tac model. UBG has a fairly quick turn around too for a quality custom holster. As for ready to buy now, there are some good suggestions in the above posts. Ebay is also a good source for Galco and G&G and others.

I don't think Rosen is 6 months. Last I ordered they were at 2 months. Lightning arms is awesome and if you get lucky, they might have what you want.

I've had good luck on ebay buying new Galco and Don Hume holsters, most sell for 50% off MSRP. The bags and printed material were a bit faded, but the holsters were brand new. There are a lot of gun stores going out of business and selling off their entire stock.

My name is Jerrod. I am a Holsteraholic. It is my only true vice. I have Safariland, Galco, Don Hume, Dillon Precision, Blade-Tech and Mika. I am happy with what I have, but I just want a high end custom job. I do NOT want to wait 6 months for it. Maybe it is my combination of my youth and just plain impatience. I do want one though. I have been considering a FIST, also, to maybe tide me over until I can get a good custom leather holster. Not that FIST is low end. I may get it, and not want for anything else.(fingers crossed) I just have the jones.

Well hello Jerrod. I think you have a long way to fall. Once you start wearing Sparks,Rosen, Del Fatti, Bulman, Alessi, etc, you will really see what a Leather addict goes through! I am a major addict and I have purchased molds so that custom makers can make me rigs for my pistols. Just the other week I purchased 3 Matt Del fatti belts. I need serious help! I am sure the cost of my leather collection has exceeded the cost of my firearms.
Fist makes great leather. Do not think of their leather as cheap. They offer one of the best hand boned leather out there at a really great price. Fist's basic holster is better than many higher priced holsters from other makers. IMHO FIST is the best bang for your buck right now. Delivery is 4-5 weeks usually and they have tons of custom options. I also really like FIST's kydex. Watch the gun forums and Ebay as many deals pop up now and then and timing is critical. You can find some great leather from other addicts searching for that perfect rig. |

I bought my Sparks VMII for the Colt Defender from Lightning Arms Sports about a year ago and it was in stock. Those folks are absolute gold to work with.

Milt Sparks is quoting 20-26 weeks right now. It's WELL worth the wait! Just order one and get exactly what you want. My G23 model will be horsehide w/shark trim. None of the "stocking dealers" has anything like that anyway.

The short answer is, you can't keep them "in stock." They'll be in-stock for a minute or two...maybe an hour or two, and then they're gone. I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse.
