PCS in Baltimore: First Rate Gunleather
I got a "Blackbird" from PCS in Baltimore for my new old school Smith & Wesson Model 36 Chief's Special.
It's very special indeed in that holster. I am very, very happy with the combination.

Nice holster. I use a PCS Harpoon for my PM9. It is my favorite pocket holster. Top notch!

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm a snubbie revolver guy myself and in the market for a leather pocket holster. Your PCS looks nice. That's a right-hand holster, right?

Yup, it's a rightie. My photography skills do not do it justice, either.

Randy, have the same model as yours for my 638. Been carrying in it for about 6 months now and really like it. In light of some other problems folks are having, he delivered right on the money of his promised date!

Very nice! I've been wanting the Kramer version for a very long time now. I may reconsider and order one like yours.
Can you tell me how long your order took? Thanks |

The Blackbird was designed for jean pockets, I have a Kramer and feel it might be a little more versatile than a curved back like the PCS. I am pondering a replacement for the Kramer and the Blackbird is up on my list along with a Sparks PCH-R.

If you talk to the owner at PCS you'll discover he tailors his designs around certain pocket types and pistols. He really knows his pocket holsters! I wear almost nothing but jeans so he steered be to the Black Bird. It's worth a call....

I don't remember how long the order took, but I do remember that the holster arrived exactly as scheduled.

I found the invoice. I ordered on 8/1/07 and it was shipped on 9/13/07. I got it probably two days later, so my guess is that PCS quoted me 6 weeks and that's what it ended up being.
