| Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options There are some really good defensive carry holster designs, as well as some very bad ones on the market today. Whether you are in the market for a new holster or just discovered another perfect carry option, let us know about it here. |

Comp-Tac C.T.A.C. slide?
I'm thinking about getting one of these holsters for my full size 1911. I'd have to get the "slide" version since my gun has a full-length dustcover (Baer Monolith). I'd like it mostly for the ability to tuck my shirt in.
Does anyone have the slide version of this holster and carry a full size 1911 in it? Pictures would be appreciated. Thanks! Austin |

Sorry, no pics. I have carried my full size Kimber in a slide for approximately two years now. It has worked exceedingly well and I don't plan on changing.

The barrel sticking out and front sight are my only concerns I guess. I think my front sight will probably fill up with lint rendering the tritium useless....Maybe that's just the price of fashion though.
