Women specific holsters.

I am looking for a holster for my wife. I did a search and didn't come up with much.

I am trying to find some makers who make women specific strong side OWB holsters. I saw Fist has some, but can't find anyone else.

Also, if there are any women who do carry in this manner, if you can give me some details on who made it, and how comfy it is.

Thanks in advance.

My wife carries a Walther P99c in an Alessi CQC/S and swears by it. She also has one that Matt DelFatti specifically made for women but favors the Alessi. Both Matt and Mark Garrity offer designs for women and Kramer has their belt scabbard and MSP paddle modified for women also.

Another vote for Kramer...Greg's designed a holster specifically for a woman's hip structure.

Bianchi has a 990 optional paddle extension that works with most of their owb designs. This allows for the difference in hip design between men and women. Check their actual company web site for specific info. I know many female leos that use this for off and on duty carry.

Problem with Bianchi's design is it's simply a wedge that makes the holster stick out WAY too much. Not much good for CCW. My wife tried it out.

Thumbs up Shoulder Rig

My wife loves her Sam Andrews Monarch Rig. Here's a review thread on hers, and try a "search" for womens rigs too. Lima has a lot of info on her web site.

By a woman...for women and men:
http://www.womensholsters.com/index.html
With good info on how a woman's vs. man's holster is constructed to take in hip curvature and shorter waist. I remembered the Cornered Cat link, too, and came back to put it up but somebody already thought of it a couple of posts down.

i personally think that any holster advertised as being for women is just a gimmick. i wear normal guys holsters. they fit as well as can be. every person is shaped different. you cant classify all of us women into one body shape.
shop around for all sorts of holsters and see what works. just cuz it says its for women doesnt mean it will fit right.
