i dont suggest anything that will just loosen it up in general.
i would go for the draw draw draw method simply because you dont want to loosen it everywhere, just in certain locations.

Not trying to be a smart a** here but the best way to break it in is to wear it and use it!

The wax paper works well if you don't over do it. Sounds like part of your issue might be your belt, too. If you aren't using a good gun belt, that can make a world of difference. Also, while I agree with the draw, draw and draw some more theory, make sure you are doing it correctly. If you are having to use two hands to get the gun out at fist, there is a very good chance you are covering yourself with the muzzle. You definitely don't want to build a bad habit and re-enforce it with hundreds of incorrect draw strokes. 'Just something to think about, if you haven't considered it yet.

I use the plastic bag trick and have yet to ruin any type of holster. Lots of continuous draws will work. Might put some wear on your finish but hey, your weapon is a tool and tools are bound to get dirty/worn

That's what I'd recommend. You can always stretch, but you can't "shrink back."

I used Gary Brommeland's advice, I figured the holster maker should know and recommend the best technique. His recommendation, wrap the pistol in wax paper, wax side out (Helps to lubricate the holster), and leave it overnight. That worked like a charm.

I say just wear the darn thing and draw (but don't overdo it) and it will naturally flex and loosen up. Once it's stretched...um, it's stretched. That will probably be OK or maybe not.

I did what it took to get my G-19 to draw smoothly out of my MaxConV. I started by wearing it 16 hours a day for a week or so, drawing a few dozen times a day. Still tight..Wrapped it in one layer of wax paper overnight...still tight. Worked up one layer at a time until it was right. It took a month of work to get it right, but it's perfect now.

With leather you have to be patient because if you go to far the holster is toast. Take your time and the payoff is worth the trouble. Each leather holster will be slightly different from the next. Work with it and you'll end up happy.
