Other than my Ka-Bar, the rest are used primarily for utility. I lend out a lot of knives during the day at work. I want to make sure I have at least one for myself to use for opening boxes, cutting string tags and such.

Define "such".

There is nothing wrong with four knives, LOL. If you read my previous post, I carry at least three. One strongside, one weakside, one all purpose and sometimes a sheath knife.

I've answered these type of questions all over the Internet, and will do so again.

Since it's winter I'm favoring my Carhartt Pants when I'm not working. Here's what I have in the pants, or on the belt right now:

3" Ruger GP100
S&W 442
2 Speedloaders for the GP100 in a Digital Camera Case (on belt)
1 Speedloader for the 442
1 Speed Strip with 5 Rounds
1 Pocket Knife (for chores)
CRKT M-16 (For Rescue/Defensive Use)
Fairbain Knife (fixed blade in a horizontal sheath on belt)
Surefire E2E
Cell Phone
Civilian Wallet (Holds the Credit Cards and Driver's License)
Work Wallet (Holds my Credentials)

That is my off duty carry. The only change in the past year has been the Fairbain, it's a new addition. My wife gave it to me and it carries great for a weak hand draw.

Some of my co-workers think I carry "Heavy" but I don't think so. I am very familiar with an "Old School" LEO that won't carry less then three handguns and sometimes as many as five, on his person. He also has longarms in the vehicle. This is for off duty.

I'll second this....and can completly understand Lima's need for the extra tools.

Depending on my piticular job at the time, be it deployed overseas, under water and underway, during a maintaince period on the waterfront, working security, etc., etc., etc.......I'll have on me at any given time 2 to 4 knives, no less than 2 flashlites, a Gerber AND/or a Leatherman "digit" multi-tool. That's for work. I shead the "bat utility belt" when I (finally) get home!

Jackknife and keys in front strongside pocket (during the winter I carry a spare set of keys in the weakside front pocket so I can start pickup up and let it run for a couple of minutes).

If I'm carrying a BUG from weakside to strong BUG, cellphone, knife, primary carry gun mag, Bug mag, and primary gun.
I finally took some pics:

I couldn't figure out how to take the pics armed and this is how I carry when I do two gunned.
