Looking for a holster.
My buddy is a LEO and needs an offduty holster with retention for his 4" XD .40 and Glock 27. He has a C-T.A.C. (XD) and really likes it, but it doesn't have any sort of necessary retention. It must be IWB. Any ideas?

I am not aware of any IWB holster with retention. For the best retention holster I have used is the Bianchi Carry Loc, but it is OWB.

Is IWB with retention a dept policy? I don't see the need for a retention strap for IWB carry.
Maybe he can get one of the popular holster makers to put a retention strap on one. Just remembered...I just got an Andrews MacDaniel II IWB for my Glock 26. It has an option of a thumb break. The cant angle is adjustable. Andrews Custom Leather |
