Slim mag pouch?

Hi all-

Whose mag pouches take up the least real estate on the belt?

I'm trying to find higher-riding models which are as narrow as possible, and keep the mags close to the body. Pancake-style holders are out of the question, as well as ones with large flat seams outboard of the magazine. Might consider a model with a seam on only one side. Would consider Kydex, though I've never used it.

I kind of like the metal clip-style, but they don't ride very high, and I don't like leaving the round exposed at the very bottom of the mag--it attracts attention and is visible for what it is if your cover garment rides up a bit.

Looking for two single pouches, not a double. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Comp-Tac

I just started using one of these for my 1911's and I'm very impressed with how concealable it is.

Single stack mags, or hi-caps? I have a nice leather one designated GL9 for my hi-cap Glock mags that is excellent. Can't remember the brand. Then I have an Uncle Mike's kydex for my single stack 8 round SIG P220 mags that is very slim. These two mag holders are all I need for all my carry pistols.

Sorry, 9mm double-stack SIG mags.

The big tension screw protrusion on the Comp-Tac is exactly what I was trying to avoid--sorry if I wasn't clear what I meant by "narrow." The problem isn't that stuff sticks out too far from my waist, it's that I have a 29" waist and a whole lot of stuff to wear on it, and I'm trying to free up some more wiggle room.

I had a Matt Del Fatti mag pouch and holster for my S & W 5906 9mm a few years back. His design is sleek, rides high and tight, and made with the minimum amount of leather. Uses the single seam design. Excellent quality and finish. Check out his site.

I use blawkhawk CQC. I like the black ones but if you wanna get fancy they do have the carbon fiber look for about a buck more. They come in double and single stack. I have and use both types depending on what gun I want to carry. Plus you can take off the clip and they fit onto any picatinny rail. Works great if you have the leg drop platform as well.

I also use their light holder for my little surefire e1E. Even though it already has a clip the flashlight holder keeps it more stable.

INSIDE THE WAISTBAND HOLSTERS and IWB Mag Pouches

Tucker makes tuckable, IWB mag pouches. Doesn't get more discrete. You didn't mention anything about IWB being out of the question so I thought I'd toss them out there.
