1911 fit into Beretta holster??
I was posting new pics of my 1911 in a High Noon Holster when for some reason, a light bulb lit up in my head. Without wondering, I went to the other room to get my holster that I use for my Beretta 96. Its a DeSantis Model 86 (scabbard). For some reason, I just had to try it. I put my (now empty) 1911 into the holster. I have great retention, does not impede on my draw, the trigger is securely protected and covered.
Question is, will I continue to wear this rig. Most likely not. But I'll walk around the house a bit more just to see if maybe I should get a OWB holster for my 1911. We'll see.   Better Close up picture....  |
