Customer Service at it's BEST

Below is a copy of a series of emails ( Read from the BOTTOM UP )between myself and TT GunLeather.. It deals with holster that they buit for me in the Milt Sparks VM II style.. Since I had bought this last October, they had made some improvements including Directional Snaps .. My request was to BUY the snaps.. and question if the holster could be re-dyed at whatever charges are incurred.... as you can see from the response.. they are going to SEND ME BACK the old holster and replace it witha NEW ONE ..
Most Maunfacturers would have said "SORRY.... THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO"
Here is the web site if anyone is interested This comes under the heading of BUY WITH CONFIDENCE"

TT GunLeather High Quality Leather Gun Holsters

Tim,
There is no way anyone can improve on your TRUE customer service.. Most companies ( if not all ) would have said sorry there is nothing we can do.. But you have gone way above and beyond..I will post this email on as many "weapon" forum boards as possible to spread the word and of course at our shop.

Best regards
Sal
Oh and by the way Black will be fine for the new holster

Hi Sal, I am sending back your holster tomorrow and I am going to make you a new one. Sorry for the trouble but I'm sure you will be happy with the new process that keeps the holster more rigid and water resistant. Just give me a few weeks to get it out to . I will send you a tracking number when it ships. Let me know what color you would prefer - black or cordovan.

Thanks, Tim

How refreshing to know of a business that actually cares about its customers after the sale.

He just went on my short list. That's old school customer service at it's finest.

I may have just found my new holster maker. Now if my tax return would just get here so I can make the final decision on what gun I need the holster for, lol. Anyway, its nice to see some decent customer service. My last holster maker was outstanding as well (I sung his praise in a thread a while back), there are quite a few good ones out there. The good outweigh the bad by far.

Awesome! Been a long time since I've heard the saying 'our customers are number one'. Word of mouth is invaluable. Some realize it, others don't. Stick with the ones that know.

Great customer service! Thanks for the post - I'm going to give him a try (just posted a question about a new .45).

There are others who have the same kind of customer service. Unfortunately most of us forget to post when we get service like that. We only talk about the negatives. It is a shame that a few bad apples are causing so many problems. Even the holster makers with great service and great reputations have problems as a result of the few. When we get great service like Sal did from TT Gunleather we need to be sure to let our fellow members know about it. That way we see the good and not just the bad. Thanks for the post, Sal. And next time to talk to the fine folks at TT Gunleather tell them that we appreciate the way they do business.
