IWB single/double mag carrier for G19 to wear at 10-11 o-clock?

Hi all,

I've just started carrying my G19 AIWB at around 1:30ish using a Sidearmor IWB holster with 5 degree canted belt loop. I really like this mode of carry for all of the benefits that have been discussed before.

I'm now looking for either a single or double IWB mag carrier that I can wear at around 10 or 11 o-clock. I'm currently wearing this one from Don Hume:

It's great standing up, but sitting down and getting into and out of a car is a nightmare. The lower edges of the leather are very pointy and gouge my hip. The mags also sit a bit too low for me.

I also have tried this one:

It uses a metal clip, so it can be worn IWB also. It fits a lot better, but I find the single mag pouch actually less comfortable than the double. The double just seems to form to my body more easily and doesn't feel like a lump on my side. Perhaps there's a single mag puch that's a bit wider someplace?

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Chris

I tried IWB magazine carriers, but found them too uncomfortable. I carry magazines OWB, or in a pinch in my pocket if I need to carry one.

Best,
Jerry

Magazine Carrier

I carry on the belt in cooler weather, or in my front weak side pocket. I use an Uncle Mikes number 2. It breaks the outline for the magazine as well as it will a pistol. Very comfortable.

The G19 uses double-stack 9mm mags.

Magazine Carriers

Both of the pistols I carry use double stack 9mm magazines. The carry pistols are a Hi-Power carried in a Crossbreed and an XD9sc carried in a Comp-Tac CTAC holster.
