I have the P239 IMHO its to large to pocket carry, also
have a P230 and its rather large for pocket carry also. You can give it a try, I use Nemesis for my J frame.

I guess if it's for a jacket/coat pocket it might be alright, but I'm with ron, too big for pockets. It may fit in the pocket fine now, but putting it into a holster may tell a whole other story.

For a coat pocket I would just carry it in the pocket as there aren't any real holsters made for jacket carry as the pockets are all shaped differenty. If you will be concealing in the same coat you can probably make a template and one of the holster makers could make something up for you to keep the gun positioned correctly. Just make sure you carry NOTHING else in the pocket with the gun. This gun is far to large for pocket carry in pants. My P232 is to large except for cargo pants.

I've got a 239 and am thinking you must have very deep pockets!
I don't recall ever seeing a pocket holster for a 239, but have never looked for one. A quick search only turned up with one "The Nemesis" by DeSantis. Good luck!

Hi, EJ,
I just got a used P 239 in .357 SIG. The closest thing I could find is made by Blackhawk. It is a number 6. I was looking for something like an Uncle Mike's, which I carry a smaller weapon in. |
