SigTac Coat
I saw a nice looking coat made by sigtac that has inside pockets designed to carry a weapon on right or left side. Kind of looks like a "chore coat" and very inconspicuous. I could use a jacket like this, and wondered if anyone owns one, or something similar.
what do you think of these jackets? David

There is also one in this month's Sportsmansguide.com catalog....It may be less than the Sig.

It'll work for carrying and looks good.

There are lots of coats with vertical zippered breast pockets. I got a reversible one at Sams Club and a nice LLBean jacket. Many winter vests have these pockets. I carry a compact 9 in a DeSantis Nemesis. I use the jacket pocket when driving, etc. The only problem is a discreet transfer to pants pocket in the parking lot when you know you'll remove the jacket.

The wife gave me the black Sig Tac coat a year ago for Xmas. I took it to a tailer and had the elastic holder inside the jacket sewn to perfectly fit my H&K P2000 9M. There has been no signature of the gun when in the elastic holder. The only thing I don't like about it is the velcro is very loud when you open the jacket to draw the handgun. A couple of snaps would have been a better design.
