Bent Holster Clip

Well it finally happened. Went to sit down and the table caught the IWB holster clip on my don hume.
Tried to bend it back... it aint the same...

Good thing about Hume holsters is they are not too expensive to replace.

But it does suck....

C clips are that way ... doesn't matter if they are metal or kydex. What you gain with c-clips is the ability to quickly take the holster (w gun) on and off one-handed. What you lose is some life expectancy, I think.

For some reason I don't feel as bad if this happens to kydex and I toss a kydex holster - but I doubt that I could part with leather without a significant grieving processes. My condolences on the loss of your 'Hume.

I remember a guy telling when his clip stabbed through the vinyl of a restaurant seat and "sticking" him to the seat.

Bummer. Our carry rigs (to include holsters and gun) can get a little banged up in the course of our daily life.

Can you remove the clips and add snap loops, some times the snaps wear out but they can be replaced and I find they are very secure.
