Mag pouch for 1911
Been looking for double mag pouches for 1911 magazines in black nylon. All I have found are 'universal' ones that also will hold double stack mags. These are a lousy fit for a single stack mag, unless you like it rattling around a lot. Anybody got a source?

I've seen something like this at at Sportmans Warehous and Jax. I want to say it's made my Bianchi.

Bianchi seems to be the answer unless you want something designed for concealment. If you want nylon to keep from paying for leather, I'd look at kydex as an alternative. Lots of good kydex stuff out there, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Just my $0.02

I'm not a big fan of nylon and suggest the dual mag carrier from Galco.

I too prefer leather and Galco makes a nice pouch.
But if you want nylon, some guys use a nylon knife case. ![]()

Well I will spend the big bucks on my gun or my holster, but lets face it a mag pouch is only there to secure the mags till you need them. So I had a bunch of old military 45 mag pouches laying around and I figured I could make one work. This one is OD green but seems like
I've seen similar in black (of course it beens years since I was in military and if I remember correctly color cordination was not a big thing in those days). Will work IWB (my preferred) or OWB. Simply cut the cover flap off and the snap and it's good to go. Only problem is if wearing IWB you will not get the mag back in once you take it out. Not a problem for me because if I'm taking it out then I got bigger things to worry about than getting it back in!
