horizontal or cross draw holsters

I am looking for a holster that rides horizontally on the pants belt. Located either on the strong side or can be used as a cross draw holster. A Sig P 232 (.380 ) would be the pistol being carried in a concealed manner. Do any readers out there know of such an item or know where I could obtain such a holster?
Thanks in advance, dgang

Do you mean so the firearm is parallel with your belt? seems like it couldn't be IWB. therefore if it was OWB and have to ride on your belt dosn't sound like a good idea of concealment, not to mention hard to draw and have your muzzle point in a unsafe direction.

Seems like a tall order. Good luck.

Most manufacturers make a cross-draw, but they are far from horizontal. The closest thing I've seen is a "Driver's Holster" made primarily for personal protection specialists in a car. Can't remember who makes it, but it specifically states it is not meant to carry a gun when out and about.

Andrews Custom Leather - Carjacker Crossdraw

FYI - No one on our EP team uses it or anything like it. When you're behind the wheel; drive.

Why would you want holster that rides horizontally? seems kinda silly to me. there are plenty of good holsters that will conceal better, and have a faster draw.

Mark Garrity also makes a "carjacker" type holster FWIW. This sounds like what you're looking for. If you don't have to have it horizontal, I'd look at Andrews Gunleather - he makes a holster that can be carried strong side or cross draw IWB (appendix for cross draw I believe).

Someone in a wheelchair, for example.

Andrews Leather makes the horizontal drivers holster. Just saw it on their website.

Holster?

Best advice I read was to hold your gun in the belt position you prefer. This will determine the cant angle needed. Foreword cant behind 3 o'clock position and reverse at 2. At 3 the holster is straight drop at no cant. Driving, find a better solution like cross or holster attached to the console side with velcro.
